Appointment-based MIELI Crisis Chat - a single-session service for when you’re feeling overwhelmed or facing a crisis and need someone to talk to. Or multiple MIELI Crisis Email sessions for persistent challenges and when one conversation isn’t enough.
Anonymous registration and sign in to the Tukinet platform is required.

MIELI crisis support via email provides short-term assistance for challenging situations when a single conversation is not enough. You will communicate with the same worker throughout the process. This service is intended for anyone facing a difficult life situation. It is free of charge, and no referral is needed. --- To receive support, you will need to register anonymously and sign in to the Tukinet-platform. A staff member will match you with a suitable counsellor based on your first message and the background information you provide. It may take us some time to respond to your message, but we do our best to get back to everyone who contacts us for help. We appreciate your patience. --- All conversations are anonymous and confidential, no one outside the discussion can view them. Counsellors are either crisis work professionals or trained volunteers selected for the role.

Appointment‑based MIELI Crisis chat offers a calm space to talk with someone who knows how to listen. --- You can reach out if you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or struggling with a difficult situation. The person you’ll speak with is either a crisis work professional or a trained volunteer from MIELI ry or one of our member organizations across Finland. --- Please note that bookings must be made at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. --- Your appointment will be cancelled if you do not join the chat within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time. --- If you're unable to attend, please reschedule or cancel your session early. This way, we can ensure that help remains available for everyone who needs it.
